card that originally aired on July 23, on SHOWTIME® from Comcast
Arena at Everett in Everett, Washington.
The main event features heavyweight prospect Shane Del Rosario against Lolohea Mahe. The co-main event features unbeaten STRIKEFORCE Women’s World Welterweight (135 pounds) Champion Sarah Kaufman vs. international star Roxanne Modafferi.
Other featured bouts include local favorite Cory Devela against the
dangerous Bobby Voelker in a welterweight (170 pounds) battle,
Abongo Humphrey vs. Mike “Mak” Kyle at light heavyweight (205
pounds) and U.S. Army war veteran Caros Fodor vs. Thomas Diagne in
a lightweight (155 pounds) matchup.
“Friday night's event reinforced the commitment of the STRIKEFORCE Challengers series to discovering and building the careers of potential superstars such as Shane Del Rosario and to giving past achievers like Mike Kyle the opportunity to re-establish themselves as top contenders in the sport of MMA,” said STRIKEFORCE CEO Scott Coker.
