Seven Stars & Combat Factory Sponsor 1,000 MMA Tickets To Veteran
and US Military Groups WCMMA: USA Vs The World – Foxwoods -
September 15th
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mashantucket, CT – 8/31/2012 – Thanks to the generosity of the Combat Factory and Seven Stars Global Entertainment, veterans and active duty military groups have received a gift of 1,000 tickets to the World Cup of Mixed Martial Arts (WCMMA™) and The World Mixed Martial Arts Championship (WMMAC) Super Fight Series at Foxwoods Resort Casinos' MGM Grand Theater on September 15, 2012. These tickets were a joint purchase by Seven Stars and the Combat Factory, both having a desire to make a lasting impression and to promote goodwill. The tickets are being distributed to various veteran and military groups, and will go to honor and empower the warriors of the United States Armed Forces.
When asked about his motivation for such a gift to our servicemen,
Rob Carucci, CEO of Combat Factory responded, "regardless of who is
competing against who, both our veteran organizations and groups
that support our active duty servicemen are trying to make a
positive difference in the lives of people who have put themselves
in harms way, and we recognize this. Being a disabled veteran owned
company, we know that those who served enjoy the sport of mixed
martial arts.” Carucci continued saying that “for us providing
these special people with an opportunity to experience the World
Cup of Mixed Martial Arts is an honor, as we know that the spirit
of the WCMMA is to foster good sportsmanship and to build positive
relationships."
Bruno Wu, Chairman of Seven Stars was also very proud to be one of the sponsors of the gift stating "it isn't everyday that you get to help and recognize groups that support veterans and servicemen. This is exactly the kind of spirit we are trying to foster through the mixed martial arts.” Edward Catucci, Director of the WCMMA said, ”I personally salute both Rob Carucci and Bruno Wu for showing leadership and the desire to make a difference. We see mixed martial arts as a powerful force to bring people together and to build good relationships."
