Management Company Represents Top Talent
San Jose, CA: MMA Stars, the world's premier talent development, training and branding company in the Mixed Martial Arts Industry, announced today the caliber and current success of their fighters fighting on every major fight card, reality TV and MMA on TV to date.
Leading the pack is Mike Cook, a current contender on BET's new MMA reality series Iron Ring. Born out of San Bernadino, California and currently fighting out of Visalia, Cook boasts a 4-1 professional MMA record. Catch this rising star Tuesdays at 10:30 PM (ET/PT) on BET.
Also on Iron Ring, is MMA legend Shonie "Mr. International" Carter who acts as a coach and advisor on the reality series. Carter just signed on to fight on NBC/HDNET for Strikeforce on June 27, 2008. The five-time UFC veteran recently won his 13th world title belt. He was featured as a welterweight on The Ultimate Fighter 4 and has compiled an overall record of 67-16-7, with a record of 35-16-7 in major MMA organizations.
Another TUF contestant off of The Ultimate Fighter 5 is MMA Star Marlon Sims (Pictures) who recently signed a three-fight deal with Strikeforce.

Airing in mid-June is the first fight card on CBS and features MMA Star Jon Murphy, a heavyweight, who recently signed the deal with Pro Elite.
MMA Stars also includes a roster of up-and-coming talent who fight out of San Jose, California, at Shamrock Martial Arts Academy. IFL veteran Jeff Quinlan (Pictures) won his last fight by TKO in the second round with a standing knee-to-head that dropped his opponent at San Francisco's Gladiator Challenge. Fighting in an upcoming Gladiator Challenge is MMA Star Jeremy Tavares. And making his MMA debut on Strikeforce's Melendez vs. Thomson fight card is Alexander "Spider" Trevino.
