Strikers Duel Added to M-1 Challenge XXIII

(PRESS RELEASE) -- M-1 Challenge XXIII goes down Saturday, March 5th and the undercard keeps getting stronger. The addition of Magomed Sultanakhmedov versus Plinio Cruz is a middleweight strikers duel with Fight of the Night potential; all the evening’s action from the Crocus City Arena in Moscow, Russia can be caught LIVE online for free on the official M-1 website, www.M-1Global.com, starting at 11:00am EST / 8:00am PST.

“When Cruz’s camp made it clear that this was a bout they wanted, all that came to mind was the rapid-fire combinations both fighters will launch at one another,” says Evgeni Kogan, Director of Operations for M-1 Global. “Although he lost by split decision against Tyson Jeffries, Cruz’s last outing was extremely impressive and Sultanakhmedov is more than ready to get back in the ring after losing a jaw-dropper to Rafal Moks. Without doubt the fight between Cruz and Sultanakhmedov has all the elements necessary to create one electrifying fight; it’s a perfect stylistic matchup.”
