(PRESS RELEASE) -- The main event has been announced for this Saturday's (May 21) Donofrio Entertainment "BEATDOWN" event at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan, as Tony "The Tiger" Zelinski (18-7) of Team Undisputed MMA will put his 135-lb Impact Fight League Bantamweight Championship belt on the line against Pat "The Star Child" Hook of Team Pit.

Standing 5' 5" tall, the popular Zelinski will have his work cut out for him if he is to defend the belt. The undefeated Hook stands 5' 10" and is already a champion of several organizations. Zelinski, however, has also won his share of belts and brings a very well-rounded set of skills to the cage.

"This is an intriguing match-up of two of the best 135-lb fighters in the State," said event promoter Joseph Donofrio. "Tony the Tiger seems to improve with every fight and so far, Pat Hook has looked invincible, so if ever there was a super fight in this division in Michigan, this is it!"

Zelinski vs. Hook is just one of 16 scheduled fights on a card stacked with Michigan's best young talent.

This will be the first MMA event ever at The Dow Event Center, which holds over 5000 fans. "I'm very honored to be introducing mixed martial arts to this beautiful venue and proud to say we've put together a sensational event, from top to bottom, to kick it all off."
