TOYKO FIVE BRAND TO SPONSOR ALMEIDA FOR UFC 117

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ricardo “Big Dog” Almeida determined to defeat Matt “Country Breakfast” Hughes.

Charles Jebara, President of Tokyo Five Brand announced today that the company will continue to sponsor Almeida for UFC 117 in Oakland, CA on August 7nd, 2010.

This will be Almeida’s first fight since he submitted Matt Brown at UFC 111: St Pierre vs. Hardy.

“Whether I like or dislike Matt Hughes doesn’t really make a difference,” said Almeida. “If it was my mother in there, I’d be trying to choke her out and I expect nothing less from my opponent."

Ricardo will enter the cage next Saturday wearing Tokyo Five’s latest design, the limited edition Walkout II, a revamped version the iconic Tokyo Five Walkout first worn by Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 86.

“I’ve been waiting for the right time to unveil the Walkout II,” said Jebara. “Ricardo is the man, this is the fight. I can’t wait.”
