Third Title Fight Added to Rocktagon MMA 'Amateur Elite Series 1'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ohio based mixed martial arts fight promotion Rocktagon MMA, formerly known as CageStars, announced today that a third title bout has been added to the already stacked "Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series 1" fight card. Ohio fan favorite Marcus Washington will face a very skilled David Parker for the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series lightweight title. The highly anticipated event will feature three title bouts and a total of 15 Amateur MMA fights. "Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series 1" will take place on November 20 at Midway Mall in Elyria, Ohio.

According to Lorenzo Gentile, president of Rocktagon MMA, "We are very excited about the addition of Washington vs. Parker for the lightweight title. It is a very compelling match up and a great addition to the card. With three titles on the line, November 20th promises to be a night of non-stop fight action!"

Co-headlining "Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series 1" is CageStars veteran Jose Martinez (Independent) and hard hitting Darnell hicks (Independent). The 185lb fighters will go head-to-head for the middleweight championship belt. In another exciting title bout, Mike Martinez (Chutabu) will step into the cage with Cy Stephens (Iron Tiger Fight Team), in a battle that will determine the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series featherweight champion.

Marcus Washington (4-0-1) is known for his aggressive fight style and charisma. He fights out of the Samuel L. Felton Jr. Athletic Club in Lorain, Ohio. The club, owned by Alshi Williams, was organized to introduce wrestling and boxing to young individuals who would otherwise not be unable to participate due to financial restraint. Washington's training at Alshi's club has served him well. He recently defeated Joey Shaw via TKO at Cage-Stars' VooDoo Custom Sportsbikes Fight Series in front of 3,000 cheering fans and UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.

Marcus Washington now has his eye on the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series lightweight title. Standing in his way is Demolition Fight Team contender David Parker (4-3-0) out of Findlely, Ohio. Parker, a strong willed, well rounded mixed martial artist, with a good chin and exceptional ground skills has plans of his own; to add another notable win to his record and emerge as the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series lightweight champion. Only one fighter will raise their hand in victory at the end of the night and claim the title. Will it be Marcus Washington or David Parker? Fans in Ohio will find out on November 20th!
