Aug 4, 2011 Comments
(PRESS RELEASE) -- The MMA Clinic are pleased to announce the
former World Extreme Cagefighting veteran Noah Thomas will be
joining their growing family as the head MMA coach of their brand
new state-of-the-art facility in Amman, Jordan.
This new facility and brand known as Intensity Gyms will be the first of its type in Jordan, with plans for big expansion across Europe in 2012.
The MMA & Boxing Clinic Gyms is a rapidly expanding MMA business
which was founded in 2009 by the London based Irish businessman
Graham Boylan, who is part owner of the new Intensity Gyms and will
shortly be announcing the opening of the first MMA Clinic in the
United States.
Thomas, a former Marine Sniper has a solid professional record of 13-7 and has previously held Bantamweight Titles in the now defunct TKO promotion in Canada and at Ring of Fire in the USA. A native of Colorado, Thomas was catapulted to worldwide attention in 2007 when he was selected as a contestant on the fifth season of the Ultimate Fighting Championship produced reality TV series “The Ultimate Fighter”.
After his appearance on the “Ultimate Fighter” show, Thomas scored three straight wins which saw him called-up to the WEC for two bouts. Since then he has been inactive on the professional circuit but is now relishing the challenge to live and work in the Middle East which is quickly becoming a hotbed of MMA action in the region.
Thomas is due to join-up with the MMA Clinic management team before the gym’s official opening next month, which will also coincide with the second Cage Warriors event in Amman in early September.
