Tryouts for the XFA Fights January 19 in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, Nevada - The Xtreme Fighting Association TM (XFA)
announced that they will be holding invitation only stand-up
fighter tryouts in Las Vegas at Striking Unlimited.
Xtreme Fighting is a stand-up, combat style, martial arts fighting sport which fuses centuries of tradition from martial arts such as karate, kung fu, tae kwon do and kickboxing, and is hugely popular in Europe, South America and Asia.
The tryouts will be held at Striking Unlimited, which is owned by Ken Hahn, who is considered as one of the world's top trainers, and has a staff of other world class trainers specializing in all the major aspects of Martial Arts, including Frank Mir (Pictures), former heavyweight champion.
Christopher Reis, CEO of Reis Sports Entertainment and the Xtreme Fighting Association (XFA) had this to say, "This is a great opportunity for up and coming fighters to showcase their abilities and win a fight contract and sponsorship. They will be tested by a panel of world class martial arts experts, will being seen by major corporate sponsors."
Applications are now being accepted for the invitation only tryouts. Professional and experienced amateur male and female fighters wanting to go professional will participate in various exercises that test a wide array of skills including speed, power, coordination, flexibility, and knowledge of the sport.
They will also engage in sparring sessions with one another. After the tryouts, some of the fighters will be offered a contract to fight for the XFA and some fighters will be awarded with sponsorship packages from XFA's corporate sponsors.
