as Las Vegas' premier amateur mixed martial arts organization ? not
to mention one of the most-respected amateur events in the U.S. ?
Tuff-N-Uff is ready to take its act on the road.
Tuff-N-Uff President Barry Meyer is proud to announce he's taking "The Future Stars of Mixed Martial Arts" to the Sunshine State.
Tuff-N-Uff will hold its first-ever event outside of Nevada on Oct.
9 at Florida Atlantic University Arena, lovingly referred to as
"The Burrow," in Boca Raton, Fla.
"Florida recently approved amateur MMA in the state, and we're excited about the opportunity to bring Tuff-N-Uff's commitment to quality live events to Florida," Meyer said. "Just like Las Vegas, Florida is home to some of mixed martial arts' best training camps, and we look forward to showcasing some of the area's best up-and-coming talent, as well as some of the top amateur prospects from across the nation."
With an established history of promoting some of the best amateur events in the country, Tuff-N-Uff's brand has been in high demand across the nation. Meyer and Tuff-N-Uff believe Florida will provide another strategic base of operations for the Las Vegas-based promotion as matchmakers continue to seek out the very best amateur fighters to compete in the world's fastest-growing sport.
The International Sport Karate Association (ISKA), which already governs Tuff-N-Uff's Las Vegas events, will oversee the Florida shows, as well, ensuring consistency in regulation throughout the promotion.

Tuff-N-Uff's Florida operations will be headed by Corey Casty, a life-long MMA fan and associate of Tuff-N-Uff. Corey worked as an intern for Tuff-N-Uff before graduating from Lynn University with a degree in Hospitality.
