Tuff-N-Uff Productions, Inc. Names Chris Irwin Chief Operating Officer

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Las Vegas, NV; December 11th, 2012 - Tuff-N-Uff
Productions, Inc., the nation’s premiere amateur mixed martial arts
promotion, has named Chris Irwin as its new Chief Operating
Officer.
Mr. Irwin, who is best known as being the man responsible for turning The Gun Store into a world renowned entertainment destination and putting it on the worldwide map, will manage the day to day operations of Tuff-N-Uff. Tuff-N-Uff, which has focused exclusively on the Southern Nevada region, will expand its efforts nationally. Mr. Irwin will spearhead this drive.

Before joining Tuff-N-Uff, Mr. Irwin oversaw marketing and day to day operations for The Gun Store of Las Vegas, where he pioneered an ever popular tourist concept which is now being duplicated by all the new indoor ranges opening around Las Vegas. While at The Gun Store of Las Vegas, Mr. Irwin implemented concepts that prior to that time were unheard of in the firearm industry. He spearheaded advertising, created a vast marketing campaign, hosted his own radio show and along with input from various staff members turned a small retail store / indoor range into the nationally recognized tourist attraction it has become today.
Chris Irwin’s role in The Gun Store was greatly diminished in 2012 as he was diagnosed with head/neck cancer which resulted in him being absent from the Gun Store for the majority of the year. We are now proud to say he is in remission from his illness and devotes part of his time speaking to cancer support groups to help others based on his own personal experience.
Prior to The Gun Store, Chris worked here in Las Vegas in the hotel industry and was also a middle school teacher.
Mr. Irwin has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education (Kinesiology) from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
He and his wife Alicia have 7 children and live in Las Vegas, NV.
