Tuff-N-Uff Returns
Memorial Day Weekend Battle Set to Determine the Future Stars of
Mixed Martial Arts
Event set for the Tropicana Hotel & Casino on May 23
LAS VEGAS - May 13, 2008 - More than two dozen of the top up-and-coming amateur mixed martial arts fighters will take to the ring at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino on Friday, May 23 to battle for the right to be named a true future star of the sport.
At a sold out debut Tuff-N-Uff amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) event last month hundreds of excited fans had to be turned away. However, fight fans will have another opportunity to see some great action on May 23 when Tuff-N-Uff brings another bout to the Las Vegas Strip where future glory can be won or lost on a single tap-out.
"Our last event was one of the largest amateur MMA events the country has seen," said Barry Meyer, President of Tuff-N-Uff, promoters of the event. "There were tough battles and plenty of hard-hitting MMA action in our last event and that was only the debut of the KICK sanctioned amateur MMA Tuff-N-Uff promoted events. We're expecting plenty of exciting bouts in the May 23 fight."
The Fight Card, subject to change, features 15 bouts, including Heavyweight and Female fights.
"Some of the winners from our last event are going to return to really prove they are the future stars of MMA," Meyer added. "MMA fans should get their tickets early to make sure they don't miss out on seeing the real future stars of this exciting sport."
Tickets for the event are priced starting at only $25 and are available at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino box office at 800-521-8767. Las Vegas Nutrition Centers across the Las Vegas Valley have tickets available at a discounted rate. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the first bout is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. For more information on the event, please visit www.tuffnuff.net.
