Fans can also make cash donations to support our heroes in uniform who have suffered injuries in service to our nation.

“We truly appreciate the sacrifices the men and women of our armed forces make on a daily basis and it’s important for us to show our support with events like this,” UFC President Dana White said. “We put on another great card for the troops here tonight at Fort Hood.”

About UFC® Fight For The Troops 2

Spike TV and the UFC partnered with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF) for tonight’s show, which was headlined by a lightweight bout between Evan Dunham and Melvin Guillard. The first event took place in Fayetteville, N.C. in December 2008 and raised over $4 million. All proceeds raised through Fight for the Troops events benefit the IFHF, which provides assistance to our nation’s military heroes who have been critically injured in the performance of their duty, and their families.
