Ultimate Women Combat TV Show Set
(PRESS RELEASE) -- As the show continues to gather interest from
around the world, BodogFight veteran, Tara Larosa
has been selected as co-coach with Rosi Sexton.
Cesar
Gracie will now oversee the overall coaching schedule and head
up the now all women coaching team.
Tara Larosa is a veteran female mixed martial artist who previously fought in BodogFight. She was the first and final Bodog Fight 135 lbs champion. She recently defeated HOOKnSHOOT 125 lbs champion Cody Welchin in a non title fight at a HOOKnSHOOT/Bodog Fight co-sponsored event. She is considered one of the top female Mixed Martial Arts fighter holding wins over other top Mixed Martial Arts fighters including of note Amanda Buckner and Kelly Kobald. Larosa is presently signed with the American Fight League.
The show is shaping up to be the whos who of womens MMA and with this latest addition and the amazing list of contenders so far, the show is sure to appeal to all MMA fans. Hosting the show is ‘sexiest woman in the world' Joanna Krupa and the fight correspondent is ‘Outside the Ring' TV presenter, Marika Taylor. Final selections will be made in the next 10 days with the possibility of up to 16 women being named to compete to be the Ultimate Women Combat Champion.
With the UK try-outs done and dusted this week at SBG Manchester and covered by BBC & FHM, the US try-outs will go ahead on Friday 19 December at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Training Gym in Southern California.
