Wargods and Ken Shamrock Promotions Presents David Vs Goliath

At 6'8'' and 350lbs Ross "The Grizzly" Clifton vs The Legend Ken Shamrock will be an interesting fight for the fans.

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ken Shamrock has had a string of losses over the years, some due to injury - some people wonder why he still stays in the game. I think you have to be a fighter to really understand the heart and mind of one.

“I’ve had a string of bad luck. My ability to get things done in the ring is still there. I wouldn’t do it if I couldn’t. Trainings have gone well and it’s really just a few injuries that have kept me from cutting loose…. When I lose the will to want to do it and I can’t get past the injuries [is when he plans to retire]. I am healing up. I’m getting better. I know I’m getting better. But there will be a point in time where your body just hurts too much. Right now I feel I’m taking it to some of these guys I’m training with who hold belts. I know what I’m capable of doing. I just have to get in there and do it. That’s what I’m working for right now. The next couple of fights people are going to get in there and see that and those people are going to have to jump on those blogs and apologize about my abilities and my fighting. I think we can all agree good or bad there is no quit in Ken Shamrock – in the cage and outside the cage. From sleeping in cars and group homes to an upward rise to the top as an MMA Champion. Falling back down to the bottom again with a divorce, bankruptcy and then the start of a succession of losses. Ken is not going anywhere - he doesn’t know how to quit.

The match up between Ken Shamrock and the Grizzly came after John Marsh and Bo Cantrell could not take the fight due to injury and insufficient training time. It is a fight that Ken is excited about and a fight that Ross thinks he will win.
