historic Eve of Destruction event on Saturday September 18th from
Chapparell's Center in Akron, OH will not only be seen by the

NAAFS.tv. Eve of Destruction is Ohio's 1st Ever All Female MMA
event, featuring top female fighters from across the country
converging on Akron, OH for a revolutionary night of fights inside
the NAAFS cage.
The main event at Eve of Destruction will be a professional bout in the 125 lbs division that will see Marissa "Shorty" Caldwell (4-1) of Vision MMA take on 2009 National Amateur Women's Champion Jessica "Evil" Eye (6-0) of Strong Style Fight Team. Caldwell enters this battle having won four of her last five fights and her only defeat coming at the hands of former Strikeforce #1 contender Jan Finney. Training at Vision MMA alongside names like current Interim Pro Series Lightweight Champion Daniel Straus, Caldwell is no stranger to entering enemy territory for a fight. Jessica Eye is coming off a successful pro debut at Fight Nite in the Flats VI, where she defeated Amanda LaVoy by TKO in the second round. Now Eye returns to battle, looking to pick up her second professional victory and to defend the honor of her hometown crowd.
Eve of Destruction will also play host to one of the most highly anticipated rematches ever in the NAAFS as "The All-American Girl" Amanda Wilcoxen (6-0) once again puts her unbeaten record on the line against perennial favorite "The DNA Princess" Jessica Zomcik (4-2) of Team DNA. These two ladies met the first time at the 3rd Annual Rock N Rumble last August, where Wilcoxen had her raised in victory after a controversial ending that had fans clamoring to see a rematch.
