Women’s Grappling Camp 2010 and Gracie US Nationals
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Womensgrappling.org is pleased to announce that
the next Women's Grappling Camp will be held from January 25-29,
2010 at Big John McCarthy's Ultimate Training Academy (BJMUTA,
http://www.bjmuta.com) in Valencia, California. The January 2010
camp will be the third of its kind, following 2009's hugely
successful camps at BJMUTA in Valencia and at MECCA MMA in Toronto,
ON.
At the previous camps, women from all over North America came together to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling under world champion instructors Felicia Oh, Emily Kwok and Valerie Worthington. Women of all experience levels and from all affiliations are welcome. In addition to daily gi and no-gi training sessions, the camp offers round table discussions, seminars on mental training, coaching, nutrition and strength training, special instructional sessions for Kettlebells, MMA, and wrestling and access to all of the regularly scheduled MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, wrestling, judo, conditioning and CrossFit classes offered by the hosting academy.
As part of its commitment to building communities and promoting female grappling, womensgrappling.org has established a partnership with The Gracie US Nationals, hosted by Rose Gracie and held at the LA Fit Expo on January 23-24, 2010.
The Gracie US Nationals combined with the Women’s Grappling Camp is another chance to reach more women and provide a truly unique training experience combining a great competition with a week of intense training.
