(PRESS RELEASE) -- Knockout Promotions and promoter Kasey Thompson announced today that UFC LEGEND Brandon “THE MURDERER” Melendez has been added to the XFS #8 fight card in Boise, Idaho on March 20th.
Melendez gained his world fame from the hit reality show on Spike TV “THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER”. The Salt Lake City, Utah native fought in the finale of season 5 against Joe Lauzon, in what many call the fight of the year. Melendez will be taking on Idaho fan favorite and former BODOG World Champion Kyacey “Ice Cold” Uscola for the coveted XFS Middle Weight World Championship Title. Uscola, who originally grew up in the small town of Rupert, Idaho; makes his along awaited return to Boise from his training facility in Sacramento, California.
