Xplode Fight Series Galindo, Armbrister, Farber, and Barajas all ready to do battle

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In a who’s who of up and coming talent into the big leagues, Xplode Fight Series seems to have more than just a few big names on and off their events, as they are pulled at any moment from the XFS fight card and are moved into the UFC and Strikeforce.

“It truly has been an honor, to have so many great names agree to fight for XFS and have to take the call from their management with the question….. Can we?” said CEO of A2M Entertainment’s Xplode Fight Series Gregg Sharp. “…But if I don’t let them go then I started this organization for all of the wrong reasons.”

This card will be no different as Sean “The Destroyer” Loeffler was pulled up with less than two weeks to XFS Brutal Conduct fight night to fight on an upcoming February UFC Card. Stepping into take his place at a moment’s notice was no other than former UFC Pro Brodie Farber who will fight Travis McCullough for the vacant Light Heavyweight title.

“Brodie is a professional that is always ready to compete at this best! We were very fortunate to find a suitable replacement for Sean at such a short notice. We wish Sean all the best and we are excited to see how well he takes care of his business as he gets to live the dream all fighters hope for when they enter the cage and that is one day get to the UFC” stated Sharp.

But the fight of the night will certainly be undefeated Arena MMA young gun Saul Galindo fighting San Diego’s rising star Kris Armbrister for the Lightwieght XFS title. Both Galindo and Armbrister are heavily touted as the potential next class of great 155 fighters in the big leagues and each are hoping to use this fight to catapult their careers t the next level.

“Kris has brought his game up since suffering his only loss in June of 2011. Sometimes taking an unexpected loss is a great learning tool for a fighter. It allows them to redefine their goals and what it will take to get to where they want to be. Kris has been as focused as I have seen any fighter who has the drive to be a champ. But I am sure that Arena Coach Jeff Clark will have Saul in the best shape of his life with a focus to win as convincingly as he can. Saul has such maturity in the cage for a young fighter, he truly operates with them calm effectiveness of a seasoned veteran. This will be a battle!” a highly energetic Sharp predicts.

Rounding out the card will be undefeated, heavy hitting and tough as nails Xplode MMA fighter Joe Barajas as he takes on seasoned veteran Brady Harrison as well as undefeated Derek Anderson, Thomas Guimond of Riverside Submission, and the ever improving Shane Kruchten.

“Southern California has such a high density of talent that it is very hard not to enjoy watching these young fighters grow and make the leap in their careers. I started XFS for the fighters to have a reputable and solid organization to test their skills in and be recognized for those efforts. No bright lights and glitz -just plain evenly matched meaningful competition, something that often times gets lost at the regional promotion level. As we start 2012 XFS will be looking to expand our reach in the MMA market to new areas in order to be able to expand all fighters’ ability to reach their goals as we have done in San Diego”

XFS Brutal Conduct will be January 21, 2012 in Valley Center, CA show time starts at 6 PM.
