Cage Rage Weigh-In
Cage Rage weigh-in
26/11, Wembley Plaza Hotel, London.
The Cage Rage weigh in and rules meeting went smoothly for once, with few arguments and absolutely no brawls. The closest we came to aggravation was when Paul "Semtex" Daley, obviously confident from his recent adventures with the American Top Team, started blowing kisses and promising that their fight would be "so f**king painful" for his opponent, the Frenchman Jess Liaudin. Liaudin, looking much more lean and fit than in recent appearances, kept cool and silent throughout the exchange.
Matt Lindland and Mark Weir looked ready to go, and Renato "Babalu" Sobral looked in excellent shape for his bout against the lanky Cyril Diabate. Mike Bisping seemed in particularly good cheer, and confident that his opponent, Mark "The Beast" Epstein, would be in for a short night.
Finally, Extreme Brawl veteran Ridas Vaivada steps in at short notice to face Sol Gilbert, replacing countryman Antonio Tello, and Tulio Palhares steps in to replace Damien Riccio, facing Alex Reid.
