HONOLULU -- Fighters competing on the X1 World Events "Legends" card at the Blaisdell Arena stepped on the scales Thursday afternoon and made their bouts official.
Egan Inoue (Pictures), who is returning to action after more than four years of inactivity, weighed in just under the middleweight limit at 184.8 pounds. His opponent, Hans Marrero (Pictures), came in with room to spare at 182 pounds.
Also made official for Friday's card was a welterweight title fight between UFC veteran Chad Reiner (Pictures) and former Navy Seal Brandon Wolff (Pictures).
Reiner, who took the belt from Mark Moreno (Pictures) last January, weighed 169.4. Wolff took advantage of the one-pound leeway given to fighters and stepped on the scales at 171 pounds.
Absent from the weigh-ins was B.J. Penn (Pictures) Academy student Albert Manners (Pictures), who is scheduled to face 135-pound titleholder Kana Hyatt (Pictures). When the weigh-ins concluded, Manners was still expected to compete, but Mike Pedro weighed in and agreed to take his place if needed.
