Aloha and welcome to Sherdog’s coverage of Rumble on the Rock 5. Let me start off by apologizing for the low picture quality and limited shots from some of the fights. As it turned out, the ROTR promoters weren’t exactly prepared for or conscious of media coverage of their event.
People from every major MMA outlet were crammed in like sardines in fairly inconvenient locations that did not allow for mobility to get pictures. (I personally got to be packed into a 3 foot wide space between the fan barricade and the cage. Choice.) We pretty much got to just sit and take what came our way, and for me that wasn’t too much…
…But that did not limit several very exciting (and often brutal) fights, or some surprising slow and uneventful bouts. Let’s get to it!
