It was a big night of fights at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, featuring only the second MMA match for hometown hero Enson Inoue in four years. He brought with him a number of students from his Purebred team in Japan, and each and every one gave the crowd what they paid to see.
Unfortunately, the night ended in somewhat of a disaster, but we’ll get to that later (it’s what we call foreshadowing). I will say, though, that we learned that people will flip out for free t-shirts just slightly less than they will when the favorite local boy loses the main event, especially when the shirts are thrown by some of the lovely ladies at the Penthouse Club.
