The main event had the infamous L.A. Giant squaring off against the local Native American bad boy "Rez Dawg." The Giant told me before the fight that he had shed 80 pounds since his fight in PRIDE. He also showed some impressive agility while warming up in the ring. Unfortunately Mr. Dawg was basically a brawler who came out throwing heavy bombs without much technique.
If the giant had polished his fighting skills he was unable to show them as his opponent simply crashed into him on every given occasion. Rez Dawg did land some good shots which bloodied the nose of the taller man, but in the end he just didn't have the skill to compensate for the weight disadvantage. The L.A. Giant finished Rez Dawg with a strong front-choke in the first period.
