Next up was the third installment of the Nick Diaz-Jeremy Jackson saga. The first round saw Diaz repeatedly take Jackson down but it wasn't until the third takedown that he was able to do any damage. The first round clearly went to Diaz.
The second round began with Diaz scoring yet another takedown but this time Jackson was able to reverse and deliver some damage of his own. Jackson pummeled Diaz from within his guard to even up the fight.
Round three saw Jackson taken to the mat again only to escape back to his feet. Diaz again took the fight back to the canvas and immediately went for a choke. Jackson defended well and eventually reversed Diaz. From the bottom position, Diaz quickly locked in an armbar and ended the match at 2:04 of the third round.
