Hometown favorite Rick Davis had his hands full with Nick Ertle Jr. who charged out in the first round, slinging punches from every angle imaginable. Ertle showed no respect for the punching power of Davis as he moved straight ahead throwing bombs of his own. Davis survived the onslaught with a little help from the bell ending the first round. The tide turned quickly in the second round as Davis sent Ertle crashing backwards to the mat with a perfectly timed spinning backfist to the jaw, ending the fight by KO at 0:26 of the second round.
