Thompson starts with a flurry of punches, only to have Jambo take him down. After a short time on the ground the fight was brought back to the feet. Thompson with an impressive display of his standup skills, works the angles landing a series of combinations. Jambo attempted several takedowns, only to have Thompson back away and waive him back to his feet. Thompson was to connect with a solid punch early in round 2, sending Jambo to the mat, Thompson following with fists flying. Thompson takes the back, still throwing blows. Jambo’s corner has seen enough and throws in the towel.
