Alpha Male-sponsored fighter and decorated wrestler Brian Cobb was submitted with a guillotine choke 0:44 into the first round by Team Kihon's Nick Cramer. Cobb looked to have been working on his stand up, as he had a solid presence with his jab throughout the short fight. Cramer delivered some hard low kicks, and after landing one, caught Cobb with a guillotine while Cobb was shooting for the takedown. Cobb fought the choke the best he could, but was forced to tapout as Cramer had it locked in very tight.
An unfortunate turn of events for Cobb, but is very strong wrestling skills help immensely in mixed martial arts and he should be back. Cramer looked very solid in his stand-up and of course with the guillotine. He comes from a well schooled team in Kihon.
