Tiki Ghosn spent the most of the first round defending the takedown attempts of his opponent Nick Gilardi. As the first round neared an end, Gilardi shot again but was caught in a guillotine choke and planted firmly on his head. It did not take long for Tiki to induce the tapout as he notched the win at 4:52 of the first round.
