HALIFAX, Jul. 21 — Once again the Oasis Bar & Grill played host to the weigh-ins for Extreme Cage Combat. This third installment of the popular Maritimes mixed martial arts event, titled “East Coast Warriors,” is set to take place in the Halifax Forum Saturday night.

Tropical Storm Beryl tried her hardest to put a damper on things, as Halifax received a month’s worth of rain in the past 24 hours. The rain delayed the arrivals of several fighters, but in the end only Shane Lightle was unable to make it on time and he’ll weigh-in tomorrow.
