Before a packed house at The Palace Indian Gaming Center, World Extreme Cagefighting put on a card featuring 13 MMA matches and one Muay Thai bout. Headlining the event was a battle for the WEC lightweight title between champion, Cole Escovido and his challenger, Anthony Hamlet. The WEC welterweight title was on the line as well as "Mr. International" Shonie Carter squared off with JT Taylor.

Leading off the night's action was a match between Richard Montoya and Travis Stuart. Montoya needed just 38 seconds to dispatch Stuart via rear naked choke to earn the win.
