LONDON, July 13 -- In preparation for Saturday's Cage Rage 22 "Hard as Hell," the entire card turned up in top condition and, most importantly, all making weight -- aside from those unfortunate fighters stranded on the M25 motorway.

Eric Esch (Pictures) weighed an incredible 399 pounds, looking big by even his standards. His opponent, Tengiz Tedoradze (Pictures) could not make his way to the weigh-ins in time, joining Paul Cahoon in near-stationary traffic.

Initially, James Thompson (Pictures) was scheduled to face Wesley Correira (Pictures) before he was sidelined with an ankle injury. Apparently stepping in to replace him, Hawaiian brawler, Kimo did not even make it on to the plane, clearing the way for eleventh hour replacement, Neil Grove (Pictures).

The newcomer has a verifiable record of 2-0, but does have a significant size advantage over the Megapunk. Thompson appeared relaxed about his last-minute change of opponent, laughing at the significant height difference between the two.

Mario Sperry (Pictures) looks to be in unbelievably good shape for his encounter with Milton Keynes-based, Lee Hasdell (Pictures), who looked aggressive and focussed in the staredown.

The card's second Brazilian, Edson Drago (Pictures), also came to the scales in impeccable condition and was, quite strangely, given a packet of chocolates by his opponent, Gary "Smiler" Turner.

Mark Buchanan (Pictures) took to the scales sporting a tasteful knuckleduster belt buckle, his opponent is former K-1 fighter James McSweeney (Pictures), who makes his MMA debut for the London promotion.

A lot of the fighters on the undercard arrived in fantastic condition, notable examples included Trojan Warrior, Ronnie Mann (Pictures), Ross "The Boss" Mason, TUF entrant, Ross Pointon (Pictures), the tattooed monster Joe Mac (Pictures) and Michael Johnson from the London Shootfighters.
