King of the Cage 33, otherwise known as Aftershock came off in relatively good shape despite the ominous skies that threatened to open up at any time. Hoping to avoid a repeat of the disastrous KOTC 7 show that was mired in a constant downpour, KOTC fans were treated to an 18 fight card, including two title bouts.
Wander Braga started things off with a grappling lesson for Jason Cleveland. Braga took his opponent down, quickly moved to the mount and transitioned into a text-book armbar that forced Cleveland to submit at 1:14 of the first round.
