Murilo Bustamante (Pictures) and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (Pictures) are confident entering the 2007 season finals of Mo Team League, which takes place Saturday in Sao Paulo. After the weigh-ins on Friday, the two team captains talked to the media, noting the fact that this is the first showdown between Nogueira and his former squad, Brazilian Top Team.

"I'm a competitor," Bustamante said. "It doesn't matter who my opponent is. The personal problems will not harm me professionally."

The former UFC middleweight champion guaranteed he would motivate his team. "My team is great," Bustamante said. "This was an honor for me to work with them. I hope to keep this squad in 2008."

Nogueira seemed to be a little uncomfortable with battling his former coach and a few former teammates like Alexandre Ferreira and Gerson Silva. But he also said it would not keep his Avalanche from grabbing the title.

"It is a bit weird to face Bustamante this way," Nogueira said. "But this is a competition, and we are putting our heart and our extra efforts on display for an excellent finals for the crowd."
