AMSTERDAM, Holland, Oct. 8 — The weigh-ins and rules meeting for the first Bushido Europe event took place at the Mercure Hotel Saturday afternoon.

All fighters present made weight without any trouble, though the absence of Fedor Emelianenko (Pictures) was not clearly addressed by the promoters. At this point it seems as though the fight between Fedor and Bob Schrijber (Pictures) is a no-go.

Late replacements on the card include Fatih Kocamis, who steps in to replace an injured Igor Vovchanchyn (Pictures), and Ibragim Magomedov (Pictures), who replaces an injured Valentijn Overeem. Chief PRIDE referee Yuji Shimada is present and will referee some of the MMA fights to be contested under full PRIDE rules.
