Beatdown: Cole Miller, Ian Loveland, 'NYBA'

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood returned to the Sherdog Radio Network Monday for another edition of "Beatdown." On this edition of the program De Santis and Sherwood chat with UFC featherweight Cole Miller, Bellator welterweight Phil Baroni, and bantamweight Ian Loveland.

On Saturday night in Dublin Conor McGregor defeated Diego Brandao in the main event of UFC Fight Night. Miller, who was originally slated to face McGregor, joined the show Monday to share his thought's on the Irishman's performance. The American Top Team product also gives us an update on the hand injury that kept him off of the card.

Friday's Bellator card has a throwback fight when Karo Parisyan welcomes "The New York Badass" to the promotion's cage for the first time. Baroni joins the show to talk about his career, the bout, and what he thinks about the new regime in Bellator management.

It's been 19 months since "The Barn Owl" was in action. The Oregan native joined "Beatdown" Monday to talk about the long layoff, his return to action, and if he feels a UFC return is in the near future. Loveland also discusses the current MMA scene in Oregon and if he has ever considered training away from the pacific northwest.
