Thursday's edition of "Beatdown" finds TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross focusing their attention on this Friday's Strikeforce card at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
Joining them are The Ultimate Fighter veteran Jason Von Flue(Pictures) and Cung Le(Pictures), who square off on in a middleweight contest this weekend.
Cung Le(Pictures) has made his career in the sport of San Shou kickboxing. Combining his strikes with impressive throws it was only a matter of time
until Le made the transition to mixed martial arts competition. Last March in front of 18,000+ the San Jose-based fighter captured his first win via knockout. Cung joins "Beatdown" to talk about his fight with the TUF vet and his transition to MMA.
Training out of John Hackleman's infamous "Pit," Von Flue discusses his fight, training with UFC light-heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell(Pictures),
and how he feels fighting a guy who is a "poster boy."
