Thursday's "Beatdown" is one not to miss, as TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross are joined by Jason MacDonald (Pictures) and Nick Diaz (Pictures).

MacDonald has exploded onto the UFC middleweight division, taking upset victories over The Ultimate Fighter stars Ed Herman (Pictures) and Chris Leben (Pictures). Jason joins "Beatdown" to talk about his recent success in the UFC, being an underdog, and taking on his next opponent: former middleweight champion Rich Franklin (Pictures).

In a time where the UFC is spending a lot of money signing talent, including one of the sport's best heavyweights in Mirko Filipovic (Pictures), Nick Diaz (Pictures) is one of the few fighters to leave the UFC for another organization. On Jan. 20 Diaz will face "The Wildman" Thomas Denny (Pictures) in the Gracie Fighting Championships. The candid welterweight held nothing back when talking about today's current fighters, and why he can't seem to catch a break with MMA judges.

TJ and Josh respond to listeners' e-mail and discuss the return of Randy Couture (Pictures) to MMA competition.
