The night's co-main event saw flyweights Donavon Frelow and Yuma Horiuchi looking to each snap their respective losing streaks. In the end, it was Horiuchi that got back into the win column. After losing a point for grabbing the cage, Horiuchi was able to lock in a tight armbar after being rocked by Frelow. With his arm extended, Frelow was forced to verbally submit at 1:31 of Round 2.
