Humberto Bandenay was the biggest underdog on the card for good reason. He is a virtually unknown fighter from Peru and he was about to fight The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America Season 3 champion Martin Bravo on just two weeks’ notice.
None of that mattered, though, as the featherweight never gave Bravo a chance to get things going because he flattened him with a left knee to the face moments into their battle. Bravo was out cold as soon as the knee exploded onto his face and he fell flat on his back, completely removed from consciousness. The spectacular knockout of the year candidate came just 26 seconds into the battle.
