Coker Eyeing Melendez-Aoki, Women's Tourneys

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker spoke with Sherdog.com’s Greg Savage after Saturday night’s event in Sunrise, Fla., and discussed the ramifications of the card.

Coker especially voiced pleasure with the outcome of the Herschel Walker experiment, and also detailed a pair of women’s tournaments the company has planned for early summer.

Coker expounded on his heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem’s recent comments about signing with the UFC, and said that he will definitely be returning to the States to fight for Strikeforce this Spring. Finally, Coker predicted a high profile opponent for his newly crowned lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez.
