Sprinting up a mountainside at 11,000 feet during heavy snowfall is hardly conventional training for mixed martial arts. But then again, Diego Sanchez (Pictures) isn't your conventional mixed martial artist.

Sherdog Insider visited Sanchez in Albuquerque, New Mexico while the star welterweight prepared for Wednesday's UFC Fight Night main event versus Joe Riggs (Pictures) live on Spike TV. The 24-year-old "Nightmare" holds nothing back in training, both on the freezing peaks and in the sweat-laden gym.
