UFC Fight Night 108 Highlight Video: Watch Mike Perry Knock Jake Ellenberger Stiff
There is no disputing Mike Perry’s power. Just ask longtime veteran Jake Ellenberger.
After Ellenberger landed some decent strikes in the first and scored a takedown, “Platinum” bloodied up his nose. Unfazed, Ellenberger stormed out of his corner in the second and drilled the brawler with a left hand to the nose and then followed up with a right uppercut. The combo shook Perry and forced him to retreat, but a wicked left hook on the jaw bailed him out. The punch dropped Ellenberger and when he got up, Perry tied him up and then levelled the former title challenger with a right elbow. As soon as the elbow connected, Ellenberger was out cold and fell stiff as a board onto his back. Ellenberger lay motionless for several moments before getting back up and exiting the Octagon. The official time of the highlight reel knockout came 65 ticks into the second (bookmakers).
