UFC On Fox 25 Highlight Video: Watch Chris Weidman Tap Kelvin Gastelum
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight champion Chris Weidman was like a man possessed in the main event of UFC on Fox 25 Saturday night at Nassau Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y.
Even after “All American” was nearly knocked out in the closing seconds of the opening round, nothing was going to stop Weidman from snapping his three-fight losing streak. Weidman was relentless against Kelvin Gastelum as he took him down repeatedly and controlled him on the ground rather easily. The local fighter drilled Gastelum with several stinging punches to the head in the third and after he took him down again, Weidman slithered into a textbook arm-triangle. Gastelum tried like heck to break free of the submission but eventually had no choice but to tap out, officially ending the fight at the brawl at 3:45 of the third.
