Antonio Silva: The Man to Challenge Fedor?

Dec 1, 2006

Standing six-feet-four and weighing over 300 pounds, it's hard to miss Antonio Silva (Pictures). And with seven opening-round wins in seven fights, the Brazilian giant has quickly made a name for himself around the world.

Saturday night against veteran super heavyweight Eric Pele (Pictures) on a BodogFight-promoted pay-per-view, "Junior" makes his North American debut.

Sherdog.com caught up with Silva as he put in his final night of work at the Gracie Barra in Vancouver, British Columbia. The surprisingly nimble-footed fighter, who clobbered Tom Erikson (Pictures) in May, applies last-minute touches to his grappling before speaking with Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross.
