Catching Up with Glover Teixeira

Talking with Marcelo Alonso from his hometown of Sobralia in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight king Glover Teixeira discussed his future plans to defend the belt against Jiri Prochazka.

“As I said in my Octagon interview. The perfect scenario would be May,” said Teixeira. Knowing that UFC 274 is meant to be made in May in Rio, of course it would fit perfectly. Doing my first defense with all the support and cheering would be amazing.”

Teixeira also revealed that he is planning to invite his friend Muhammed Lawal, the last man to defeat Prochaska, to his camp.
