UFC contender Diego Sanchez is set to face lightweight champion B.J. Penn Saturday night in Memphis, Tenn., and he took a few moments to talk to Sherdog.com about the bout and his preparations after Wednesday’s open workout.
“The Nightmare” will look to keep his prefect record in tact since dropping to the 155-pound division against a titan of the sport.
Sanchez stated that he is taking the fight and his first crack at UFC gold seriously, and that he is as excited as ever to put his well-rounded skill set to the test.
