Hieron Sees Holes in Nick Diaz's Game

Jay Hieron thought he would be facing Nick Diaz for the Strikeforce welterweight crown when he inked his deal with the promotion last summer.

He may finally get his chance after knocking off tough veteran Joe Riggs Saturday night in Sunrise, Fla.

Hieron gave himself a passing grade when asked about his performance, paying little mind to the fans that consistently booed his tactical approach to the fight.

After the big win, Hieron also stated that he is ready to take on Diaz, a fighter he feels he matches up well with.
