In The Gym: Koscheck Spars at AKA

During the final hard days of preparation for Thursday's UFC Fight Night card in Las Vegas, welterweight Josh Koscheck (Pictures) gave Sherdog Insider an all-access look into training at the American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, Calif.

Stepping into the ring to spar with Mike Swick (Pictures) and Gilbert Melendez (Pictures), Koscheck battles with his star teammates as he gets ready for tough Canadian Jonathan Goulet (Pictures).

Koscheck also works the mitts and Thai pads with AKA's unsung trainer Lynn Schutz, who along with Bob Cook and Dave Camarillo give great insight into the former champion college wrestler.
