In The Gym: Shamrock's Last UFC Tango?

Oct 9, 2006

Thirteen years. Fourteen fights. Rivalries with Gracie, Severn, Abbott, Frye and Ortiz. If Tuesday night truly is the last time we'll see Ken Shamrock (Pictures) grace the Octagon, fans won't have to work hard to conjure up memories of the American star.

Just weeks before Shamrock was slated to face Tito Ortiz (Pictures) for a third time, Sherdog Insider visted the 42 year old in Susanville, Calif. for what could be the inaugural UFC participant's last training camp as a professional fighter.

Following July's controversial ending to Ortiz-Shamrock II, Shamrock lobbied for another contest against his longtime rival. After taking a bad beating in their first bout in 2002 and suffering the indignity of the rematch, how is it Shamrock can say with certainty that he will walk out of the cage the victor?

Beyond the words, Shamrock has seemed to convince himself it's possible ... and he displays that in this exclusive video.
